Among the new electric vehicle options, the Ford E-Transit is available for those who wish to use a work van that doesn't use any gasoline. It's a solid way to save with your fleet, and a big parcel company thinks so too. FedEx is set to pilot some E-Transit vans in selected markets.
Places with same-day deliveries will get a fleet of these options to see how effective they are at making drives around cities to drop off packages. This will take place in nine cities, and if all goes to plan, FedEx has a target of 2040 where its entire pickup and delivery fleet is all-electric with zero emissions.
